7 Rings

HOW TO PLAY

The Game

Build a dynasty. Earn rings.

7 Rings is a fantasy draft game using 36 seasons of real NFL data (1990–2025). Every score is era-adjusted — a great player from any era can win your draft. You have 6 picks to build a roster. After your draft the game scores your team, detects synergies, and awards rings based on your total.

Drafting

How picks work

1
You get a random NFL team
Each pick a random franchise is selected. Up to 15 player-seasons from that team — across all positions — are laid out face-down. There's always at least one QB option and one DEF option in every draw.
2
Scores are hidden until you commit
You see the player's name, team, and season — but the era-adjusted score is revealed only after you pick. Use the Peek Scores lifeline if you want to see numbers before committing.
3
Fill slots 1 through 6 in order
Slots are filled sequentially. Any player you pick from any draw goes into the next open slot — you're not locked to a position per slot. Build the roster you want.
4
Synergies fire after your final pick
Once all 6 slots are filled the game scans your roster for synergies and adds bonus points. Your total is player scores + synergy bonuses, which determines your rings.

Lifelines

Each lifeline can only be used once per game

Reroll Team
Swap to a completely different team. The original team is discarded and a new random franchise is chosen with a fresh set of 15 players. Use this when the current team has nothing worth drafting.
Focus Position
Choose a single position (QB, HB, WR, TE, or DEF) and the draw is rebuilt with only that position from the current team. Repeat player-seasons are allowed. Up to 15 cards shown. Use this to target a specific synergy or plug a roster hole.
Peek Scores
Flip all cards face-up, revealing every player's era-adjusted score before you commit. The scores stay visible until you pick. Use this when you can't afford to guess.
Shuffle Deal
Keep the same team but generate a completely new set of 15 players. Players you've already seen (from previous draws) are excluded. Use this when the current draw doesn't have what you need but the team is good.
2 For 1
Pick one player from the current draw, then immediately choose a second from the remaining 14. Two roster slots are filled from a single draw. Use this on a stacked team to grab two elite players at once.

Synergies

Bonus points added on top of player scores

The game scans your finished roster and awards every synergy you hit. Multiple synergies stack — the highest scores come from building intentionally.

Formation Synergies+2 each

Based on the exact mix of HB, WR, and TE among your 4 non-QB offensive players. Only one formation synergy fires per draft. All 4 must be HB, WR, or TE — drafting a QB or DEF into one of those spots blocks the formation bonus.

Era Synergies+4 each

Based on the years of your 5 offensive players (excluding DEF). Both can fire in the same draft if you somehow hit both thresholds (unlikely but possible).

Old School
4 or more offensive players with a season before 2010
Next Gen
4 or more offensive players with a season from 2020 or later
Team Stack Synergies+2, +3 or +5

All three can fire simultaneously and stack with each other.

Franchise Stack +2
Your QB shares a team with at least one other offensive player (any season)
Team Identity +5
3 or more offensive players share the same team name (any season)
Season Stack +3
Your QB shares both team and season year with at least one other offensive player
QB / WR Duo+4
